The Secret To Happiness

The Secret To Happiness is probably one of the most searched for items on Google besides images of Pamela Anderson--especially now with our U.S. economy in the dumpster.

So many people these days are seeking the answer to happiness, financial improvement, better health and change. How can they be happier? Is there a secret they should know about?

I recently discovered a news article titled, "The secret of happiness: grinning on the Internet". The link will be given at the end of this post.

And even though this article seemed like a fluff piece at first, after printing it out, re-reading it several times, and then contemplating what was written therein, I believe it's an excellent article and I'd like to share it with you.

The first first two sentences pack a wallop: "How happy you are is influenced by your social links you've never heard of and never met.

That's the conclusion of a US study looking for the spread of happiness and depression across social networks."

The article then goes on to say, "Happy people cluster together..."

Isn't that the old cliche, "Bird of a feather flock together"?

In real and in the virtual worlds, we join together with those with whom we resonate. And our happiness ripples out to our friends' friends' friends.

The contagion of others over long distances is finally being recognized. Our thought forms have power. Our happiness has power. Our GRINS have power.

Once you truly get-it that we live in a quantum universe, this insight will rock your world.

At the quantum level, we aren't energetically separated. We are our environment. We are our friends. We are our connections.

But as the article goes on to state, "Geographical distance is important--your friends are more influential the nearer they live."

However, my thoughts are this: if you're a global being with many friends on the net (as I am and undoubtedly many of you are, or you wouldn't be reading this post), you're perhaps very influenced by me-- and likewise, I'm influenced by you.

So here's GRINNING/Smiling/laughing with you my friends! Have a great weekend!

Truer words could not be spoken. I'm a firm believer that we are attracted to like-minded people, and how we feel and believe resonates within our friends.
