Loving The Earth

"Sounds of the Dawn" art courtesy of Love Peace Happiness

I spent some time yesterday watching the world-wide performances for the Live Earth special on the net. And I marveled at how much more interconnected we-the-humans-of-the-world are now that we can watch multiple concerts together as one. Simply by clicking, I could hear Cocco in Japan, Angelique Kidjo in South Africa, Blues Nation at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., or Spinal Tap in England. The return to awareness and appreciation for the earth is dawning, and I'm excited to see what the next years will bring in this regard.

Specials like Live Earth and Digital Earth Symposium at CAL Berkeley facilitate awakening and awareness of our eco-footprints and how we each can support the shift to an Earth-centered model of consciousness.

Didn't catch any of it, unfortunately. I would have liked to have seen "Spinal Tap" performing :-)
